I don't usually draw Voldemort, although I have a quite clear view of how he should be. Anyway, this has been done with Bauhaus's "Bela Lugosi is dead" on my mind: "White on white translucent black capes..." ;) There is no pencil background; the sketch has been done directly with ink and dry brush.

ah! he's terrifying.

there are plenty of images of voldy out there, but most of them look too cartoony to make a really scary voldemort. i think you've pulled him off nicely. and the drawing technique is absolutely gorgeous.
