A young Brienne about to leave Tarth, all hopeful and knight-of-summerish. The armor is loosely based on Giorgione's Pala di Castelfranco[link] aaaand that's it. Not very complicated.
I loved Brienne, not only because she's such an interesting character, but also because her chapters are the ONLY ONES that kept me SANE in the long, plodding, BORING last book. And then GRRM had to go and...and...grrr....I could just kill him!
Glad you liked the art Well, I actually enjoyed AFfC as a whole, as it actually included several POVs I was interested in (aside from Brienne who is probably my favorite character) and I liked being inside their head, but it's also true that it had a slow pace compared to ASoS. I guess it's not going to look so dull when (IF) the series is over and you read it in context, the long wait to know what happens next doesn't exactly work in its favor.
